A small charity with a long list of neighbors.
Angel Blessings began around a kitchen table in Broxton with one question: who in this town is going without this Christmas? The charity was founded on January 22, 2025. What started as a handful of gift tags has grown into two annual drives serving families across Coffee County, run entirely by volunteers who live here.
We keep it simple on purpose. Nobody draws a salary. Donations are given and received in person, hand to hand, at churches and businesses that let us set up a box by the door. Angel Blessings Nonprofit of GA Inc is incorporated in Georgia, EIN 88-3676190; tax-exempt status is still being confirmed. Every dollar and every gift stays in this county.
Local, entirely
Every gift given in Coffee County stays in Coffee County. No regional office takes a cut.
Dignity first
Registration is private, pick-up is quiet, and no child ever knows whose tag they were.
All volunteer
Nobody here is paid. What comes in goes back out as gifts, supplies and full backpacks.
How the work actually happens
There is no warehouse and nobody on a payroll. Tags get written at somebody's kitchen table, gifts get sorted in a borrowed room, and the whole thing runs on people giving up an afternoon.
That is why the drives are seasonal rather than year-round, and why the dates move a little each year. When you give here, you are handing something to a neighbor who will hand it to another neighbor.
